CoreCentric Solutions is looking to add another Technical Support Representative. One of the services we offer is technical help to our servicers. If they send in a control and it doesn’t fix their issue, we have a tech support staff that can help them determine if it was the control or maybe something else. This service is like the PSA Chat, but the tech can call our support while they are still in the home and maybe save another trip.


We are looking for a skilled technician that lives in the West Chicago suburbs.

This would be a great position for someone that might want to get out of the truck, but still wants to share his or her appliance service skills.

POSITION NEED:  Director of Human Resources

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We have recently been retained by a well-respected, privately held, fast growing and profitable nationwide consumer advocacy organization located in the Northeast to find the Director of Human Resources for all of its day-to-day operations. The company is dedicated to helping individuals gain personal financial relief and assistance. Since its inception 15 years ago it has been growing at a compound rate of 30% annually and now has a head count in excess of 200. The bulk of the company’s business comes from referrals from long standing strategic partners- at any given time the company has 34,000 settlement claims in process. The company plans to continue its strategy of successful acquisitions.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of HR will not only provide proper leadership for all things organizational, serving as the HR backbone of the company, but also be a trusted advisor and “Thought Partner” to the CEO, serving as a strategic resource providing HR/organizational insight to plan the strategy to get the company “to the next level.” The candidate will be an agent for change in an evolutionary, not revolutionary way, swinging the thought train of the organization and its culture to establish a “Best Practices” training and development environment resulting in a professional, collaborative team focused on profitability.

This position requires a seasoned veteran with 8-15 years of HR experience gained in an industry leading services environment. S/he must have a record of creating programs and procedures that have improved training and development and an appreciation of technology and business intelligence, with a demonstrated record of using it to develop a talent pool in a high growth, CRM/ERP focused services environment.

Specific industry experience is not a requisite. What is imperative is that this individual has a demonstrated record as an HR change agent providing HR leadership in a multi-site, process oriented service business and an excellent record of improving service delivery and employee management skills.

S/he must be a personable individual with outstanding communicative skills and demonstrated leadership abilities, one who subscribes to MBWA (Management By Walking Around) and is at once accountable and flexible, one who is energized by coaching and accomplishments. S/he must be a “culture carrier” who has a pride and passion in their work and a demonstrated comfort with technology.

It is imperative that this individual be a resourceful leader with a true understanding of how a service organization works, having used this understanding to improve personal productivity. Knowledge of claims management or similar processes would be extremely helpful.

REGIONAL TECHNICAL MANAGER (APPLIANCES)

Dacor, a leading high-end manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances, headquartered in California,
is seeking a Regional Technical Manager based in Texas (preferably Dallas, Houston or Austin). The
selected candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills, a minimum of 10 years of
Appliance Industry repair and related
business management experience. A valid driver's license with a clear driving record and auto
insurance is mandatory. Overnight travel of 2-3 days per week, usually 3 weeks per month is
required.

Major responsibilities will include:
• On site visits and management of Authorized Service Agents
• Provide hands-on training to Authorized Dealers and Service Agents
• Provide technical and management assistance to all Dacor authorized/non- authorized
service agents, customer service and technical advisors.
• Ability to quickly and efficiently diagnose root cause problems and provide solutions

This position will have the following key accountabilities: travels domestically to support all areas of service delivery related activities for distributors, chains and customers which includes technical training, customer relations, parts sales and warranty administration; provides technical training and support for all products; assists with development of product, transition to production and aftermarket support; works with appropriate intra company departments on all service and quality issues to provide final resolution to customer; in collaboration with ACP management will develop, implement, and manage service policies; assists in development and communication of training, service, and parts publications; handles services related inquiries and correspondence from service providers and end users through work on technical toll-free line, email and personal meetings; manages assigned Service Network: establishes, evaluates and strives to maintain a service base that ensures 100% coverage for ACP products; reviews and approves all service contracts and performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Candidates should possess the following experience and/or or competencies: Bachelor’s or other technical degree plus 3-5 years field service delivery experience, preferably with increased levels of management responsibility including supervisory or leadership experience; confident, versatile, motivational and enthusiastic training and presentation skills; strong PC proficiency / skills on all software utilized by ACP Services; strong operational skills that bring no nonsense solutions to processes and procedures that do not sacrifice service delivery; ability to provide leadership that motivates coworkers and distributor service delivery to a high level of commitment and participation in common goals and achievements; excellent customer relations skills that display tact, diplomacy and the ability to negotiate effectively to a win-win solution; and the ability to communicate effectively and independently organize and prioritize departmental needs.

Responsibilities will include the installation and repair of high end appliances to include SubZero, Wolf, Bosch, Miele, Thermador and Asko.  Must be familiar with connecting to water and gas lines and dismantling and reassembling appliances.

Qualifications: Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in appliance work.  Must possess an EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification required.  Experience in both commercial and residential a plus.  Valid stateside vehicle operators’ license required.   Excellent verbal and written communications skills a must.

Home Appliance/Electronics Repair Claims Examiner with Assurant-ADDISON, TX 

compensation: $35-36K plus 14 days of PTO
As our newest Claims team member, you will utilize your technical knowledge to work directly with consumers and service providers in support of our extended warranty business. You will use your keen analytical skills to validate the accuracy of claims submitted by service repair businesses to ensure we provide cost effective, quality repair and replacement services under extended protection plans. In addition, you will be encouraged to provide suggestions for improving processes and increasing efficiency in the department. In return, you'll have the opportunity to work with a manager known for identifying and developing talent, in a role with tremendous growth potential. 


Responsibilities: 
Support the claims process for repairs for home appliances, consumer electronics, plumbing, and HVAC and electrical systems 
Validate the accuracy of claims submitted by service repair businesses to ensure we provide cost effective, quality repair and replacement services under extended protection plans
Work with repair technicians to validate/document repair information and adjust claims accordingly
Review repair estimates and determine whether it is more cost effective to repair or to replace
Approve repairs or replacements based on terms and conditions of extended warranty agreements
Enforce independent servicer agreements
Provide performance related feedback to Assurant's independent servicer network and communicate with internal teams to ensure that proper action is taken to correct performance
Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances, Home Systems repair experience
Minimum one year Customer service experience
Computer skills using multiple Windows applications
Ability to type 25 wpm

Desired Skills/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
· Proficient with Microsoft Access
· Leadership experience or aptitude
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Call center experience

Candidates must be willing and able to work an 8 hour shift between 7am and 7pm Monday -- Friday. This position is full-time with benefits. After 8 + weeks on site, telecommuting may be an option.
